CLARITAS successfully expands its Greek solar portfolio to 591 MWp by acquiring a further 277MWp of production licences from Greek operator RAE in May 2021. The projects have been clustered in Northern Greece and will be ready-to-build by end of 2021 by using the latest generation of modules and inverters.
“Greece wields the key of solar to clean its energy mix. We are confident that our solar projects will offer a sustainable and commercially viable solution as Greece wants to get out of fossil fuels.” said Dirk Lamottke, Managing Director of CLARITAS Investments. “We have reached a significant milestone in terms of size and maturity of our portfolio in 2021. We want to finalize the remaining development steps in the new year and get ready for construction before next winter” quoted Nikos Siafakas, Director of Project Development, Greece.
CLARITAS has been successfully developing a large PV project portfolio in Europe and entered the Greek solar market in 2018 where since then it generates utility scale renewable energy facilities through its subsidiary CLARITAS Hellas Energy BV.
