The clean energy investor CLARITAS INVESTMENTS announced it has successfully established a subsidiary in Romania and acquired a first cluster of photovoltaic (PV) projects with an aggregate capacity of 22 megawatt (MW), distributed in 3 different locations around the city of Timișoara. The projects are expected to be ready to build in Q3/2022.
“CLARITAS has an intimate understanding of the changing energy landscape in Romania and aims to contribute to a swift decarbonization of the country’s energy supply. We aim to significantly increase our investments into the Romanian clean energy market and target to expand our PV project portfolio in the country to a total volume of not less than 300 MW by end of 2022” said Dirk Lamottke, Managing Director of CLARITAS Investments.
